Hello Seahawks!

Please remember to declare your swimmers for our meet this Saturday (6/28) against the Blue Crabs by no later than Tuesday (6/24) at 11:59 PM. Reach out to me directly if there are and questions, and even if you are not attending the meet, please declare that you will not be there so we have everyone accounted for. We also had an issue last week where we were forced to scratch a relay of ours because swimmers left early without telling anyone. If you are in a relay, you MUST stay and compete, unless you notify a coach in advance that you have to leave. If this continues to happen, I will no longer allow your swimmer to participate in relays during meets. If you do not wish to participate in relays, please note that for me to know when you declare. 

Additionally, we are participating in a Relay Carnival meet on July 1, and we need swimmers! This is a very fun opportunity to compete against other FSSL teams in a meet of ONLY relays!

As of right now, we only have 28 people who have RSVP'd. There is a limit to 75 swimmers total, so coaches will have the final decision as to who is going to be swimming, but we need to know who can attend. Please RSVP for the Relay Carnival by this Thursday (6/26) if you are able to go. Due to the entry limit, some who RSVP may not actually be swimming, but we need to know who is available to create the relays.

And finally, if your swimmer has "borrowed" a pair of our Seahawks team goggles for a practice, they MUST return them to us. These goggles are for last minute emergencies if a swimmer's own goggles break or they forget theirs for a day. We bought a large pack of goggles for kids to use for a practice and return to us after, but we have completely run out due to swimmers taking them home. Please buy your swimmers their own goggles for them to use daily, and if they have a pair of ours, bring them to the next practice to return them so everyone has the opportunity to use them if needed.
