Good evening Seahawks,

Thank you for a successful Time Trials meet this morning! It was wonderful to see swimmers compete for the first time, try new events, and hear everyone on deck cheering them on.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping the meet run smoothly. From timers to clerk of course, ribbon distributors, and officials... thanks for being part of our team! Speaking of officials, the last training is June 9th. You can still sign up to train. The link is here. Let me know if you take the training.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

REMINDERS

Swimmers are not permitted to wear any other team caps or suits with team names during meets. They can turn their caps inside out, if needed, or purchase a Seahawks swim cap. Our team suits are available on Swim Outlet but are not mandatory. 

Swimmers are also not permitted to wear bikinis or bathing suits that tie. Please let me know if you have any questions.

DAIRY QUEEN TAKEOVER!

Join us from 7-8 pm at Dairy Queen in Urbana on Friday, June 12th. Each Seahawks and pre team swimmer will get a FREE cone. We encourage friends and family members to support our local DQ and purchase treats to enjoy.

AWAY MEET INFO

Declare for the meet by midnight on Tuesday, 6/9 by going to the Meets and Events page on our website or clicking on https://vouseahawks.swimtopia.com/swim_meets/861084/swim_meet_entries.

Please declare whether you will be attending or not. If plans change or a swimmer gets sick, let Coach Lilly know asap by emailing her at [email protected].

There are still jobs available that need to be filled. Thank you, in advance, for volunteering!

We will be swimming at Dearbought community pool which is located at 100 Eli Court, Frederick, 21701. Plan to bring canopies and chairs. Warm ups for Seahawks start at 7:25 am so please plan to be at the pool by 7:00 am.

The theme is Western so come dressed in your favorite western gear: Cowboy hats, bandanas, plaid shirts, boots (pool deck friendly, of course!), or anything that says "Wild West".  Full meet information is here.
