Good evening Seahawks families,

I hope you had a fun and safe holiday weekend! Thank you to those that came out to our first annual Trivia Night last Thursday. If you didn't see the post on Instagram or Facebook, you should go take a look. A lot of fun was had by all! 

We have a busy couple of weeks coming up as we near the end of our season so please read this email carefully. 

HOME MEET VS Brunswick River Rapids and Tallyn Ridge Killer Whales 

Please declare your swimmer for our final home meet on Saturday, July 11th by Wednesday morning at 10:00 am. You can declare by clicking here and sign up to fill the last few jobs if you are able. 

We are going to have a Parent vs Parent relay and a Parent vs Coach relay during half time. Swimmers LOVE cheering on their parents and coaches so please sign up!  You can find the sign ups under "unfilled jobs". Let's make our last home meet memorable!

Our theme for the meet is "70s Tie Dye". Bring a white shirt to the pep rally on Friday, July 10th to Tie Dye and wear to Divisionals. We'll have fabric markers at Divisionals for the team to sign shirts.  

RELAY CARNIVAL

The Eastside Splashdown Relay Carnival will take place on Tuesday, July 7th. Warm ups for our swimmers are at 5:00 so please arrive around 4:40 to get settled. There are no personal tents allowed as there are 6 teams participating. Our Seahawks tent will mark our team area and that's where swimmers and volunteers should check in. 

MANHATTAN PIZZA FUNDRAISER

Please support the Seahawks by enjoying Manhattan Pizza on Tuesday, July 7th. Mention the Seahawks and we earn 20% of sales that day. Please tell your friends and neighbors!

MINI MEET

The Mighty Mini Meet is an event for all swimmers who are 8 and under, including pre team swimmers. This event will take place at Stone Barn Pool with our sister team, the Blue Crabs. Any 8 and under swimmer who is on the Seahawks are asked to declare for events for which they haven't placed at meets.  All swimmers can declare for up to 4 events. Events that have Kickboards are labeled and our junior coaches will be there to assist in the water for any swimmer that would like that option. You may declare your swimmer starting at 10:00 am on Wednesday morning. Jobs for the meet are currently open. 

70s Tie Dye PEP RALLY

Our Pep Rally on Friday, July 10th will begin at 6 pm at Harris St Pool on the grassy area. Our Pep Rally is for all of our swimmers: Seahawks and Pre Team. Urbana Lodge has graciously donated appetizers for all of our swimmers to enjoy. We are asking each family that attends to bring 1 dessert to share.

We will be tie dying shirts to wear to our Divisionals meet so if your swimmer would like to participate, bring a white shirt to Tie Dye. We will also be completing our hand print banner, making encouraging pins, and playing some fun games with our coaches. We hope you can attend. Please RSVP here so we make sure we have enough food.

Friday 7/17- Last Donut Friday and Last practice for most swimmers
