Good morning Seahawks families,

It has been an interesting few days but despite the poor air quality, intense storms, and last minute change of plans, you still managed to pull off a win at our Divisionals meet yesterday!  Seahawks represented, both swimmers and volunteers! The Dearbought team rep wanted to send a special thank you to our volunteers for stepping up to fill roles that were unfilled by other teams due to the unique circumstances yesterday. A HUGE thank you to all of you! If you stepped into a role that you didn't sign up for, please email me so I can make sure I give you volunteer credit.

Seahawks swam 268 events with 98 improvements earning a total of 430.5 points. Dearbought finished second with 369 points, Whittier Riptides with 205.5 points, PVYA River Rapids with 188 points and Tallyn Ridge with 29 points. Way to go! 

We had two new swimmers earning All Star times! Congratulations to Gabi Rubiera for earning an All Star time in 25 Free and Carlina Wang for her time in 25 Back. Nikolai Voroshchuk also earned an additional All Star time in 25 Back! Many of our swimmers continue to improve in their All Star events. The complete list can be found HERE.

END OF SEASON BANQUET

Our End of Season Banquet is today at 6:00 pm at the Harris St Pool. We can't ask for better weather! If you are a pre-team family, we are asking that you come about 15 minutes early, if you are able, to sign junior coach cards. Everyone else will sign in with one of our volunteers before entering the pool. You will need to scan your pass, so please bring them for the whole family. 

Our Event Agenda is as follows...

• 5:00- Volunteers report to Harris St Pool (We could still use 2 more to help if anyone is interested)
• 5:45-6:00- Pre team families check in (if able to come early)
• 6:00- check in and pool time
• 6:30-7:00- Dinner is served
• 7:00-8:00- Awards on the grassy area
• 8:00- 9:00- Dessert, raffle drawings, and more pool time

We're looking forward to a fun evening celebrating this great season together!

ALL STAR QUALIFIERS

Practice will be from Monday- Friday mornings, from 9-10 am. 

Please declare whether you will be attending the All Star Meet by Tuesday at 10 am. 

The All Star Meet will take place next Saturday, 7/15 at Lake Linganore's pool. More information will be shared tomorrow with all who qualified.
